If you have a purchased printer that fits the following criteria it is not supported by the college and will need to be replaced by your work area.

The college no longer provides hardware maintenance or repair services of printers. Small desktop printers are consumable items and do not fall under any repair agreements. Options for hardware maintenance and repair for larger high output devices include the following:
* It is older than 5 years old,

* Purchase hardware with an extended maintenance contract
* The printer is a large format laser printer

* Lease hardware through the college bookstore that would include a maintenance and repair service as part of the lease agreement
