Adding Transitions

Apply transitions in the finishing stages of editing. Transitions must be shorter than the clip length.

  1. In the Action Bar at the bottom of the screen click on Transitions.
  2. Click and drag a transition over a clip, release the mouse when a color overlay appears.
  3. A Transition Adjustment window will open over the clip to set duration, and the placement. Click Done to confirm settings.
  4. To re-edit the transition double click on the icon in the timeline.
  5. Delete a transition by selecting it and pressing the delete key.
