The start screen offers limited controls for microphone use without starting the whole system, or tap the middle of the screen to go to the main screen

----

Main screen
Center area gives you feature controls: the top half is the projector and things you can send there; bottom half is what can be routed to the Extron Mediaport which shows up as a input in Zoom/Teams meetings on the classroom computer

The left side holds controls start with a back button, that will take you back to this page if you are on any other page, then lower screen will lower the projector screen, access Display controls to turn TVs on and off and show sources, access the camera controls for the PTZ meeting cameras, press help (to see the phone number for Classrooms support, or power off the AV system.

The right side is a volume slider for the speakers, av mute (which is just audio in spite of what it says), a privacy mute (which mutes the Catchbox mics 'in the meeting computer'), and a mics button to acces the mute and volume controls for the Catchbox cube, and Catchbox clip lecture mic.

----

Display Controls
Allows you to turn on/off TVs around the room, and pick what is displayed on each of them.

Note: if you have a zoom meeting going, but are displaying other content on the projector, keeping one of the TVs on the zoom meeting allows you to keep an eye on that computer. You won't have audio though - to maintain the meeting, joining the meeting started from the classrooms computer with your laptop will allow the room to still hear the remote participants, and you can screenshare whatever you would like into the meeting.

----

Camera Controls
Select which camera you want to control (1 or 2, depending on what the classroom has), and you can tap a preset, or use the arrows to point, + to zoom in, - to zoom out, or Home to recenter.

If you would like to overwrite a preset, hold the preset button for 4 seconds to overwrite. The current camera positions can then be recalled by taping that preset. Each camera has its own presets (3 per each). Stored presets will stay stored until overwritten, and can be overwriten as needed.
If you press the power button, it will ask if you meant it, and you can either cancel and go back, or tap power down to shut everything down.

Remember: if anything on the panel gets to somewhere you aren't sure of, or it doesn't seem to be working, shut it down and start over. This should reset things to their starting points

.
----

Mic Button
The Mic controls allow you to mute or unmute each of the mics in the classroom speakers, and turn up or down the volume for either of the mics.

Note: on this screen, "catchboxmic" refers to the throwable cube, and "lecture mic" is the lanyard/clip microphone.
Start Screen
The start screen offers limited controls for microphone use without starting the whole system, or tap the middle of the screen to go to the main screen

----

Main screen
Center area gives you feature controls: the top half is the projector and things you can send there; bottom half is what can be routed to the Extron Mediaport which shows up as a input in Zoom/Teams meetings on the classroom computer

The left side holds controls start with a back button, that will take you back to this page if you are on any other page, then lower screen will lower the projector screen, access Display controls to turn TVs on and off and show sources, access the camera controlls for the PTZ meeting cameras, press help (to see the phone number for Classrooms support, or power off the AV system.

Status of 16 June, 2026 - integrators will be onsite next week to hopefully get the last 2 things we fixed: a projector control issue in 2103 and one of the ALS transmitters is not working.
The Evergreen Media Maintenance team is continuing to finish the testing commissioning process that apparently wasn't able to be finished in the project schedule for some reason, and we are working that out now. We believe that as of today, the 1st floor and 2nd floor classrooms should be fully functional and problem-free with the exception of the 1 Assistive listening emitter device. We should get the remaining rooms to the same state next week or the week after, depending on other factors.

;Status note 18, May - The integrators have returned and some of the AV punch-list has been completed. These changes rolled back some UI updates we had made in a few rooms, and restructured the underlying control configuration in some spaces. Hopefully this will lead to a more stable systems, but this also means requested UI/ control updates and extending the timeout period of the auto-off, and adding HDMI inputs to the rest of the rooms that didn't get it in the install will take a touch longer, as we need to wait for them to finish changing things before we do the after-them work. So hang in there, we are getting things ready, and will roll out these improvements as soon as we can.

;status of 29, April 2026 we are still waiting for punch-list completion on the AV commissioning. There are a few things we are finding that were never completely installed, and there are some ongoing random problems that are occurring but should have been mitigated or workaround steps provided.

:status of April 3, 2026 AV systems in Sem1 are still undergoing commissioning work. They are mostly complete, and a punch list has been submitted to our project manager so the contractor can address the remaining aspects. Please bear with us as we endure this crossover transition of using classrooms and technology before it is fully completed.
Status of 16 June, 2026 - integrators will be onsite next week to hopefully get the last 2 things we know about working: a projector control issue in 2103 and one of the ALS transmitters is not working.

Seminar 1 Newly renovated for the spring 2026 quarter, Sem1 contains numerous AV classrooms, many of which support Hy-flex integration. Status note 18, May - The integrators have returned and some of the AV punch-list has been completed.

Yes, next to where the face of the mac mini shows in the rack, just down from one of the corners is a black button - that is attached to a mechanism that depresses the power button on the bottom of the mac mini. So if its off, tap that should bring it on. Its also possible if it is in standby the keyboard may be able to wake it. under normal conditions they don't need to be turned off, they will go to a powersave mode when not in use, and reboot at 7AM every day.

The start screen offers limited controls for microphone use without starting the whole system, or tap the middle of the screen to go to the main screen

You won't have audio though - to maintain the meeting, joining the meeting started from the classrooms computer with your laptop will allow the room to still hear the remote participants, and you can screenshare whatever you would like into the meeting.

If you would like to overwrite a preset, hold the preset button for 4 seconds to overwrite. The current camera positions can then be recalled by taping that preset.
Remember: if anything on the panel gets to somewhere you aren't sure of, or it doesn't seem to be working, shut it down and start over. This should reset things to their starting points

3aDisplaycontrols.png
----
Camera Controls
Select which camera you want to control (1 or 2), and you can tap a preset, or use the arrows to point, + to zoom in, - to zoom out, or Home to recenter.

If you would like to overwrite a preset, hold the preset button for 4 seconds to overwrite. The current camera positions can then be recalled by taping that preset. Each camera has its own presets (3 per each). Stored presets will stay stored until overwritten, and can be overwriten as needed.

04aCameraControls.png
----
Power Button
If you press the power button, it will ask if you meant it, and you can either cancel and go back, or tap power down to shut everything down.

Remember: if anything on the panel gets to somewhere you aren't sure of, or it doesn't seem to be working, shut it down and start over. This should reset things to their starting points

.06ConfirmationPlain.png
----
Mic Button
The Mic controls allow you to mute or unmute each of the mics in the classroom speakers, and turn up or down the volume for either of the mics.

Note: on this screen, "catchboxmic" refers to the throwable cube, and "lecture mic" is the lanyard/clip microphone.

Both microphones are grouped together as "catchbox mic" in the zoom microphone menu when you are doing a meeting on the classroom computer.
