Creating a personal domain

You’ll need the following two things to start your WordPress site.
- A Domain Name – this is the name of your website, such as: mysitename.com
- A Web Hosting – this is where your website files are stored and hosted from.
A free domain can often be bundled together with a hosting service when you sign up for one.
There is are variety of different hosting services available to you, but these are among the ones recommended by WordPress.
