The software (Elan) requires administrative privilege in order to run.
The software (Elan) requires the following data folder: C:\Elandata
The CAL has a virtual machine (SC-SI-Legacy) that will run in VMWARE Workstation Player in order to just run the software (Elan). There is a link in the Windows start menu called ICPMS_ELAN_and_GCMSD_Chem or vis-versa GCMSD_Chem_and_ICPMS_ELAN.

ELAN software version 3.3 requires Windows XP; version 3.4 works with Windows 7, but looses some functionality.
