Evergreen Account Status and Access to Resources

Faculty Emeritus retain their email address and Evergreen account and have access to use and download M365 (use of Microsoft applications via web browser and desktop) based on their Evergreen account.

Regarding library resources: may schedule appointments for Archival research; may access library assistance via the Research Desk; may borrow circulating materials owned by Evergreen; may borrow circulating materials owned by library consortium members (Summit); may borrow materials via InterLibraryLoan (ILL); may access licensed electronic resources remotely using Evergreen account; may suggest book purchases.

Technology and Media Support is Based on Contract Status

Unfortunately, we cannot provide computer support for emeritus faculty unless they are on a post-retirement contract using college-provided technology to satisfy the terms of their contract.

Regarding media resources: emeritus faculty may use Photoland facilities including the darkroom, film processing, special projects darkroom and Digital Imaging Studio (DIS) after receiving the required proficiency training; may access the Photo Store and paid services. While on post-retirement contract or adjunct contract emeritus faculty may borrow Media Loan equipment and schedule access to the Multimedia Lab, Edit Suites, Podcast Studio, Audio Studios, Animation Studies and other specialized spaces for academic purposes (teaching and research).
