Windows XP
Windows XP is no longer supported. If a machine comes to the Help Desk running Windows XP, this will not be re-imaged with XP or allowed to be put back in service. We will recommend that the machine be upgraded to Windows7 or better if the hardware allows, or if the hardware cannot accommodate this we will recommend that the work unit responsible for this equipment replace the hardware.
Windows 7
Windows 7 is fully supported and all aspects of the operating system is in active support by the TAS Help Desk
Windows 8
Windows 8 is being phased out in favor of Windows 10. Historically it was installed on touch screen devices only and not part of our standard CPU build.
Windows 10
Windows 10 is being tested and not yet part of our standard CPU build.
