Laptop:

  1. Press the projector ON button to turn data projector on. (Projector takes 30 seconds to fully warm up.) Projector button stops blinking when fully turned on.
  2. Select “laptop” button on media control panel, either VGA or HDMI.
  3. Connect the corresponding VGA or HDMI cable into your laptop.
  4. The image should appear from the projector.
  5. If not: go to display settings on the laptop and select “Mirror Display”

Mac Mini:

  1. Press the projector ON button to turn data projector on. (Projector takes 30 seconds to fully warm up.) Projector button stops blinking when fully turned on.
  2. Select ‘Mac’ button on media control panel.
  3. Pull out keyboard and move mouse to wake up system.
  4. Login using TESC login.

To Play DVD From Laptop:

  1. Connect laptop to projector
  2. Insert DVD into laptop’s disc drive
  3. DVD icon will show on screen, proceed to play DVD through player functions

To Play DVD From Media Cabinet:

  1. Press “DVD” button on podium
  2. Put your disc in the player
  3. Use either the podium control buttons or the remote control (in the equipment rack drawer) to navigate

To Play VHS From Media Cabinet:

  1. Insert VHS tape into VCR Player
  2. Press “VCR” (VHS) button on podium

Document Camera:

  1. Press “Doc Cam” button on podium
  2. Press the “On/Off” button on document camera
  3. Place document on the white surface
  4. Document camera controls are on front of document camera itself
