Getting Started
- Rough Animator is a non-destructive animation software, which is available on all 5 iPad Pros in the Multimedia Lab.
- To open a new project, click "new project" and fill in a title. You can choose resolution and frame rate in this dialogue box but you can also change it later.
Transferring .RA files through iTunes
- Plug the iPad charging cable into the USB port
- Open iTunes and navigate to the small tablet icon on the top left menu bar
- Locate File Sharing -> Rough Animator
- Find your Rough Animator file and drag it onto the desktop.
Importing .RA files into AfterEffects
- Open AfterEffects and go to File->Scripts->RoughAnimator to AfterEffects script
- locate your .RA file and click on .txt
