Files can easily be moved or copied between OneDrive and Teams of from one Teams channel to another Teams channel.

From OneDrive to Teams

The easiest way to move or copy a file from OneDrive to Teams is from within the Teams app.

  1. In the Teams app click on Files on the far left
  2. In the Files column click on OneDrive
  3. Find the file or files that you need to move or copy
  4. Click the selection check box on the left
  5. In the top bar click on Move or Copy
  6. In the new window that opens click on Browse Teams and Channels
  7. A list of all the teams that you belong to will load. Select the desired team.
  8. Select the channel. If there is a folder in the channel a folder can be selected if needed.
  9. Click Copy or Move
