  1. Turn the recorder on.
  2. Demonstrate how to navigate through the menus of recorder.
  3. Format the recorder correctly and prepare for recording.
  4. Connect headphones or speakers to line-out and playback your track.
  5. Plug preferred microphone to correct input.
  6. Set appropriate record levels for microphone.
  7. Record 30 seconds of audio.
  8. Demonstrate the difference between pausing and continuing to record and stopping and to create a new file when recording.
  9. Erase track.
  10. Show that you understand how to import your audio files from the recorder to the computer.
