AV Touch Panel controls, Sem1
Start Screen
The start screen offers limited controls for microphone use without starting the whole system, or tap the middle of the screen to go to the main screen
2bMain-alt.pngMain screen
Center area gives you feature controls: the top half is the projector and things you can send there; bottom half is what can be routed to the Extron Mediaport which shows up as a input in Zoom/Teams meetings on the classroom computer
2bMainAlt.pngThe left side holds controls start with a back button, that will take you back to this page if you are on any other page, then lower screen will lower the projector screen, access Display controls to turn TVs on and off and show sources, access the camera controlls for the PTZ meeting cameras, press help (to see the phone number for Classrooms support, or power off the AV system.
The right side is a volume slider for the speakers, av mute (which is just audio in spite of what it says), a privacy mute (which mutes the catchbox mics 'in the meeting computer'), and a mics button to acces the mute and volume controls for the Catchbox cube, and Catchbox clip lecture mic.
Display Controls
Allows you to turn on/off TVs around the room, and pick what is displayed on each of them.
Note: if you have a zoom meeting going, but are displaying other content on the projector, keeping one of the TVs on the zoom meeting allows you to keep an eye on that computer. You won't have audio though - to maintain the meeting, joining the meeting started from the classrooms computer with your laptop will allow the room to still hear the remote participants, and you can screenshare whatever you would like into the meeting.
3aDisplaycontrols.pngCamera Controls
Select which camera you want to control (1 or 2), and you can tap a preset, or use the arrows to point, + to zoom in, - to zoom out, or Home to recenter.
If you would like to overwrite a preset, hold the preset button for 4 seconds to overwrite. The current camera positions can then be recalled by taping that preset. Each camera has its own presets (3 per each). Stored presets will stay stored until overwritten, and can be overwriten as needed.
04aCameraControls.pngPower Button
If you press the power button, it will ask if you meant it, and you can either cancel and go back, or tap power down to shut everything down.
Remember: if anything on the panel gets to somewhere you aren't sure of, or it doesn't seem to be working, shut it down and start over. This should reset things to their starting points
.06ConfirmationPlain.pngMic Button
The Mic controls allow you to mute or unmute each of the mics in the classroom speakers, and turn up or down the volume for either of the mics.
Note: on this screen, "catchboxmic" refers to the throwable cube, and "lecture mic" is the lanyard/clip microphone.
Both microphones are grouped together as "catchbox mic" in the zoom microphone menu when you are doing a meeting on the classroom computer.
