Transition settings can be found under the 'Animations' heading at the top of the screen in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. The thumbnail buttons gives a good idea as to what each option looks like, and clicking on buttons will give you a preview of that function. If you click the transition you want, you have only applied it to the slide you are currently on. If you wish to apply your selection to all of your slides, click the button to the right of the transition options called 'Apply To All'. Sound and speed options can also be found in this area of the screen. You can choose from the selection of installed sounds, or select a sound file of your own.
