  1. Create a new post or page
  2. Click the "Add Media" button Addmedia-wp.png
  3. Upload your file
  4. Click the "File the URL" button (the url of the file will now be displayed)
  5. Change the Title field if you need to, this will become the name of the link embedded in your post
  6. Click the "Insert into post" button
  7. Publish your post
