Microsoft Teams desktop app may occasionally have problems accessing content. Similar to clearing your browser cache, clearing the Teams cache can clear up many issues without deleting your Teams data.

Windows - Clear the Teams Cache

  1. Fully quit Microsoft Teams and ensure it is no longer running in the toolbar at the bottom right of Windows
  2. Navigate to %appdata%/Microsoft/ in a File Window
  3. Select the Teams folder and delete it
  4. Launch Teams. You should now be prompted to log in.

Macintosh - Clear Teams Cache
