Guidelines for Using MyWorkstation

Do not store your Evergreen password in your browser when connecting.
Log in only from home, not a coffee shop or elsewhere.
Make sure you have a password set up on your home router/network.
Make sure you have setup encryption on your home router (some tips here: https://www.comparitech.com/blog/information-security/secure-home-wireless-network/)
If possible, use a machine that no one else in the household uses.
Make sure your home machine is up to date on all patches.
Make sure your home machine is running anti-virus and is up to date on all anti-virus definitions.
Do not save sensitive data locally. Keep it in the cloud while you work on it.

Detailed macOS instructions for MyWorkstion and Remote Desktop
On apple devices, you will need to install the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app in order to connect to your machine.

You needn't install anything additional. This process relies on the windows built in remote desktop application.
