Your Linux web space and files live on a machine called grace.evergreen.edu. In order to work with these files from off campus you'll need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. The general process will be the same for both Windows and Mac OS:

  1. Edit your html/css files on your local machine (using notepad or the equivalent)
  2. Use your ftp program to connect to grace.evergreen.edu
  3. Copy the files from your local machine to your 'web' directory on grace
  4. Open a web browser and browse to your website to check your work
