Evergreen has a number of technology-enabled "Media Classrooms" equipped with built-in audio/video display systems. All of them, at a minimum, will allow you to display your portable computer video on a classroom projection screen.

There are three levels of AV Classroom setups; this is what you can expect from each:

  • Level 1 – video display with sound and connector for portable computer video
  • Level 2 – as above plus media playback equipment in an equipment rack
  • Level 3 – as above plus a Lectern with a Mac and (in most cases) a document camera

Listed below are the media classrooms available for your use and information on scheduling contacts for them and who to call if you need technical assistance using them. For more detailed information on specific Media classrooms, please visit the Media Classrooms List.

Getting classroom AV help

The technology help desk answers calls for AV support.  The phone number is 360-867-6270, or extension 6270 from a campus phone. You can also submit a help ticket online.

During weekday hours, staff can be dispatched to assist directly.

After 5 pm and on weekends, staff is not available to walk over and help. Help tickets generated by a phone call or the online form will create an alert for the issue so that the issue can be addressed as quickly as possible during working hours. It is very helpful for tickets to be very detailed in their description of the problem.

If you have a concern or expectation that we can meet with you about regarding a classroom av need or use, please contact the helpdesk or fill out a help ticket request online, and we can coordinate meeting with you to answer questions, provide AV training, or find resolutions to your specific classroom AV needs.
