If you are living on campus in the dorms, the soup, or the mods, you can get your own phone line through [http://www.qwest.com/index.html Qwest phone service provider].  You have to contact Qwest yourself and set up the account.  Make sure to specify that you are living on the Evergreen State College Campus in the dorms.  You also need to specify exactly which room you're living in.  So if you are in J dorm in the soup, specify both which apartment and which bedroom.  That way the proper phone jack will be activated.
