Notes
  • The instrument is connected to the computer via a USB cable that will register as a USB-to-Serial connector in Windows Device Manager --it will show up as FTDF device. Windows will assign a COM port number to this device --by default is will be COM port 3, but may be different. The Seal Analytical software needs to be configured with the same COM port number that Windows assigned to the FTDF device. Look at the device properties to find out what's the port assignment. Seal Analytical software settings is found under settings --> advanced --> system settings --> COM port.
