Open an image sequence

  1. From Photoshop go File > Open
  1. Select the first image in the sequence
  2. Click the Options button on the lower left corner and and check the Image Sequence box.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Choose a frame rate from the dialogue box and click OK.

Output an animated GIF

Set your looping options
  1. Go File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) ...
  2. You should be able to preview the animation in the lower right
  3. Set your Loop options - once or forever
  4. Click Save and name your animated .gif file
  5. To playback, drag file into a web browser
