SoundCloud is the world's largest community of sound creators and let's you create, record and share the sounds you create anywhere with friends, family and the world.

Using SoundCloud in WordPress

Blogs.evergreen.edu uses the SoundCloud Plugin to embed audio files hosted in your SoundCloud account.

Activate the plugin

1. From your Dashboard go to the Plugins menu
2. Activate the SoundCloud Shortcode plugin

Add the SoundCloud Shortcode

1. Edit the post or page where you want to embed the sound clip
2. Add the shortcode with a link to your audio file

[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/LINK_TO_TRACK_SET_OR_GROUP[/soundcloud]

View your site

• Visit your site to see how SoundCloud embedded the file
• Viewers can play directly from your site
• To comment on the clip they will need to go directly to soundcloud.com
