Evergreen uses PaperCut to enable you to print from web-capable devices including laptops, phones, and tablets. These instructions walk you through how to use the web-printing feature of PaperCut.

To print from your own device, you must have:
  • a strong wi-fi connection;
  • the document(s) you'd like to print saved to your device.

Step-by-step instructions for web printing:

  1. Go to print.evergreen.edu
  2. Sign in with your Evergreen credentials
  3. Click "Web Print" on the left-side panel
  4. Click on the green button that says "Submit a Job"
  5. Choose single- or double-sided printing, then click the green button for "Print Options and Account Selection"
  6. Enter the number of copies you'd like to print, then click on the green button to "Upload Documents"
Note: This number is applied to the documents you upload in the next step. You cannot manually change this per document unless you restart the whole process.
  7. Upload your document using drag and drop or by clicking on the green "Upload from computer" button, then click on "Upload & Complete"
Note: If you are uploading multiple documents at a time, it is best to upload and submit no more than two to three jobs at once. If you try to submit more than that it will slow the processing down for ALL of your jobs and you may have to wait up to 30 minutes for your jobs to process and print out.
  8. Once your jobs have finished processing their status will change to "Held in a queue." section title "Jobs Pending Release" found on the left-side panel. You may go back to the Web Print page to see which documents are still processing.
  9. On the "Jobs Pending Release" page, if you know the name of the printer you'd like to use, you may "Release All" to print all pending jobs to that printer, or select the "print" action to print jobs individually.
  10. If you're unsure about the name of the printer you'd like to use, you can physically go to the printer of your choice and sign in at the associated print release station. Once signed in you may print jobs individually or select the green "Print All" button at the bottom of the screen.

To set up your devices with "Mobility Print:"
Mobility Print allows you to add a Papercut-connected printer to your device so that you can send print jobs without needing to login to print.evergreen.edu every time.

  1. Sign in to print.evergreen.edu then select the "Print From Your Own Device" option on the left-side panel.
  2. For Windows devices, click the green "Download Mobility Print" button.
  3. For non-Windows devices, select your operating system at the bottom of the page. Options include: Android, Chrome, iOS, and MacOS.
  4. Once you've selected the appropriate operating system, follow the instructions on the screen.

If you are having any issues with this process please see staff in the Academic Computing Center for support.
