Volume Control
- Volume is controlled from the media control panel volume knob.
- When turning the volume up, the lights should scroll up
- When turning the volume down, the lights should scroll down
- If no sound is heard, check that the volume is not turned down or muted on the computer or other playback source.
Podium Computer (Mac Mini)
- Press the projector ON button to turn data projector on. (Projector will take a little while to fully warm up.)
- Select ‘Mac’ button on media control panel.
- Pull out keyboard and move mouse to wake up system.
- Login using TESC login.
Laptop:
- Press the projector ON button to turn data projector on. (Projector will take a little while to fully warm up.)
- Press HDMI or VGA button on media control panel, depending on what plug your laptop uses.
- For VGA: locate VGA cable and connect VGA cable to your laptop’s VGA input (audio cable attached to VGA cable). Insert audio cable into laptop headphone jack for audio.
- For HDMI: locate HDMI cable and connect HDMI cable to your laptop. HDMI cable carries audio, so once connected you will have picture and audio via the HDMI cable.
To Play DVD From Media Cabinet:

- Press “DVD” button on podium.
- Put your disc in the player.

- Place document on the white surface and adjust as necessary

Shutdown Procedures
- Press Projector Off button on the media control panel
- LOCK Media Cabinet if it was opened.
Media Cabinet
Access to the Media Cabinet requires an A/V key. A key can be assigned from Key Issues or short-term checkout from Media Loan.
Assistive Listening
Unfortunately, this room does not have assisted listening integration. A self-containted system will need to be used.
Troubleshooting:
Is the computer volume turned up? Is the main power turned on. Yamaha Receiver turned on? (located in Media Cabinet) Is the Yamaha receiver main volume turned up?
