The Commons

The commons is an unscheduled computing area which sports over 50 computers running Mac OS 10.6, Windows 7 or Ubuntu Linux.

There are also a number of specialty stations available for students:

• Access Technology Workstations
• Digital Video Workstation
• Audio Workstation

Computer Classrooms

The Computer Center has four separate teaching spaces. Please check our schedule if you need to schedule time in one of them for your program. If you need to reserve space in one of the computer classrooms, contact the interim Computer Center manager, Frank Barber at extension 5064.

• Room L2610

  This Mac classroom runs on OS 10.6 and provides standard software packages like Microsoft Office and 3 web browsers in addition to Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, and Photoshop.

• Room L2612

  This is a PC room that can run Windows 7 or Linux. A standard lab setup offers software packages like Microsoft Office and 4 web browsers in addition to Dreamweaver, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, and Photoshop. GIS software is installed.

• Room L2617

  This is a PC room that can run Windows 7 or Linux. A standard lab setup offers software packages like Microsoft Office and 4 web browsers in addition to Dreamweaver, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, and Photoshop. GIS software is installed.

• Room L2619

  This Mac classroom runs on OS 10.6 and provides standard software packages like Microsoft Office and 3 web browsers in addition to Dreamweaver, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash, and Photoshop.
