General Access Labs and Classrooms


The Computer Center

Located in the Main campus Library building on the second floor. Provides computer access for all students. Within the Computer Center reside 3 general access classrooms plus a general cluster area. The Computer Center website has additional information.

The Digital Imaging Studio

Located in the Main campus Library building on the first floor. Focuses on providing support for students enrolled in Media and Moving Image Programs. It features 12 PCs and a number of flatbed and film scanners. The DIS is the primary place for high-quality image editing and printing. Space is available to any one who schedules it.

The Library

In the main entrance to the library, where reference can be found, there are a number of computers located in the back of the room available to all students. The computers are primarily used for internet access and word processing. There are also more terminals spread out on the second floor near where the book stacks are located. All these computers print out to the printer on the second floor by the library entrance.



Special Use Labs and Classrooms


The Computer Applications Lab (CAL)

Located on the Main campus in the Lab II building on the first floor. Focuses on providing support for students enrolled in Scientific Inquiry and Environmental Science Programs.

Advanced Computing Classroom (ACC)

Located adjacent to the GCC2 in the Computer Center, the ACC is a Linux-based classroom focusing primarily on computer programming applications. To access the lab, you must e-mail the Linux Administrator and request access. If your program uses Linux, then your faculty will reserve the space for you.

The Multi-Media Lab

Located in the Main campus Library building on the first floor. Focuses on providing support for students enrolled in Media and Moving Image Programs.

Animation Labs

On the third floor of the COM building, there are 2D and 3D animation labs. These labs are open to students in animation programs or contract students that pass a proficiency and schedule space through Media Loan.

Music Technology Labs

The third floor of the COM building also features four music technology labs. These labs feature a variety of synthesizers and other electronic recording, producing, and editing equipment as well as a few computers. Access is limited to students in music technology courses or with special contracts and proficiencies.

Design Lab

The design lab is located on the fourth floor of the COM building. Inside are a number of workstations, including drafting tables, animation station, and a computer specially equipped with design software. Access is granted to students enrolled in specific design programs or any student that is willing to take a proficiency.

Language Lab

English First Language Lab

The EF Language Lab is located in the Seminar I building. This lab is used for teaching English. Access is only available to students in the EF program and it is not open to general Evergreen students.

The Tacoma Campus

Located in the Tacoma building. Focuses on providing support for students enrolled at the Tacoma Campus.
