Printing from Mobile Devices in the Labs

Evergreen's Computer Labs use PaperCut to enable you to print from web-capable devices such as laptops, phones, and tablets. Here you'll learn how to use the Mobility Print feature of PaperCut.


Print from a Windows Laptop

  1. Connect to TESCwireless
  2. Navigate to print.evergreen.edu
  3. Log in using your Evergreen username and password
  4. Select Print From Your Own Device in the lefthand panel
  5. Download and run Mobility Print Windows Printer Setup
  6. On the License Agreement screen, click Next
  7. Select TESC-DoubleSided or TESC-SingleSided as the printer you want to install
  8. Enter your Evergreen username and password
  9. Click Next; then click Finish
  10. Print your document and make sure the intended printer is selected
  11. To add more printers, run the downloaded Windows Printer Setup again and select a different printer to install
  12. Visit any computer lab on campus, type your Evergreen username into the touchscreen located next to the printers, and release your print job(s).



Print From a Mac Laptop

  1. Connect to TESCwireless
  2. Navigate to your System Preferences, then Printers and Scanners
  3. Click the plus icon (+) under the Printers list 
  4. Select TESC-DoubleSided or TESC-SingleSided from the Add dialogue
  5. Name, Location, and Use are displayed
  6. Check to ensure that Use is set to Secure AirPrint
  7. Click Add
  8. Print your document
  9. Enter your Evergreen username and password when prompted
  10. To add another printer, go through the steps again and select the other printer you would like to add.
  11. Visit any computer lab on campus, type your Evergreen username into the touchscreen located next to the printers, and release your print job(s).



Print from an iPhone or iPad (Apple iOS)

  1. Connect to TESCwireless
  2. Open the app from which you want to print
  3. To find the print option, tap the share icon
  4. Tap the printer icon or Print
  5. Tap Select Printer and choose: TESC-DoubleSided or TESC-SingleSided
  6. Enter your Evergreen username and password
  7. Choose the number of copies or other options
  8. Tap Print in the upper-righthand corner
  9. Visit any computer lab on campus, type your Evergreen username into the touchscreen located next to the printers, and release your print job(s).



Print from an Android Device

  1. Connect to TECSwireless
  2. Install the Mobility Print app from Google Play Store
  3. Launch' the app
  4. Tap Android settings
  5. Tap Mobility Print
  6. Tap the enable toggle
  7. Exit out of Settings
  8. Print your document
  9. Select TESC-DoubleSided or TESC-SingleSided
  10. Enter your Evergreen username and password when prompted
  11. Visit any computer lab on campus, type your Evergreen username into the touchscreen located next to the printers, and release your print job(s).



Print from Chrome OS (Chromebooks and Chromeboxes)

  1. Connect to TESCwireless
  2. Navigate to print.evergreen.edu
  3. Log in using your Evergreen username and password
  4. Select Print From Your Own Device in the lefthand panel
  5. Install the Mobility Print Chrome app
  6. Open the page you intend to print
  7. If printing is available, right-click; then select Print
  8. Click Change to choose a printer
  9. Select TESC_DoubleSided or TESC-SingleSided
  10. Select a Mobility Print printer
  11. Visit any computer lab on campus, type your Evergreen username into the touchscreen located next to the printers, and release your print job(s).
