What is Moodle?

Moodle is Evergreen's Learning Management System (LMS). It is an open source, freely available application that was build by and for teachers to provide web-based course management. It is currently being used in many Evergreen programs and courses on campus. Moodle supports structured course-work with tools like assignments, quizzes, peer assessment, etc. To get there, use one of the links below;

http://my.evergreen.edu or http://moodle.evergreen.edu.

Moodle is a really helpful program that we use to host academic sites at Evergreen. It provides a private and secure online space for you to host discussions and share resources with your students. As of summer 2010, Moodle sites are automatically created for every academic offering. Please visit http://moodle.evergreen.edu to find your site. If you have any questions using Moodle, please contact contact your Academic Computing Liaison.

If you're new to Moodle, you might consider our Faculty Tutorial as a good place to get started. At the very least, a few minutes spent reviewing the outline of this resource can provide you with a good sense of the possibilities.
