Installation
- When MSD ChemStation is installed, a shortcut in the Windows start menu may not have been created to the utility program that configures communication to the GC instrument. - When Agilent MSD Configuration (msconfig.net.exe) is configured, it will create a shortcut on the desktop to launch MSD ChemStation --MSTop.exe to be specific-- for communication with configured instrument --the shortcut will correspond to the instrument number {1-4}.
