The camera's should be powered on before turning the PC on. This will help avoid communication issues between the software and the hardware.
Several software packages are used with the instrument:
- Wasabi
- SlideBook --this is main software to work with camera's
- IX2-BSW --configuration software
- Motic Images Plus --camera image capture software
