Requesting a Team
Staff
Most staff work areas already have a Team available for use.
- If you need an additional Team created, please submit a Microsoft Teams Request.
- For questions about Teams, please submit a Technology Support Request.
Alert: Once your Team has been created turn-off member permissions in your Team settings so that members cannot create private channels or delete channels.
Faculty
- Faculty: Create a Team connecting with your Canvas course. See: Microsoft Teams Classes Canvas Integration. For FERPA compliance we can only create Teams that are directly associated with Canvas course enrollment.
Students
We currently do not support creating Teams for students. Please work with your faculty to connect a Team to your Canvas course.
