Accessing Copilot with Data Protection

Evergreen students and employees can access Copilot in a few ways:

1. launch the Copilot App at m365.cloud.microsoft/chat
2. via a web browser copilot.microsoft.com
3. as part of the Microsoft Bing search engine.

Make sure to log in to Copilot with your My Evergreen account. To verify you are logged in, look for the shield icon.

Chat History Retention

Under Enterprise Data Protection (EDP), chat history is saved and retrievable for authenticated users.

Identity Protection

Copilot uses your work or school account for authentication, ensuring that only authorized users can access it. Your identity remains protected, and Copilot cannot access your Microsoft 365 files.

No Training on Chat Data
