Curricular Technology Tools
Evergreen provides a range of technologies for faculty to utilize in their teaching. Below are some of the primary options available by request via the Academic Technologies dashboard.
Help choosing the right tool
Academic technology support is built on the idea that technical staff consult and connect faculty with the appropriate technology to support their teaching. This is accomplished through one-on-one consultation, connecting faculty to appropriate technology resources and resource providers.
Canvas
A full-featured Learning Management System which is replacing Moodle. Canvas offers a full suite of online tools including several options for providing feedback, built-in rubrics, a great quiz builder and much more. For an introduction to Canvas basics, self-enroll into the online Orientation for Faculty and/or contact Bridget Irish (irishb@evergreen.edu) to schedule an in-person tutorial. Learn more...Moodle
Archived sites are still available to faculty as needed, though off-campus access is no longer available for security purposes (as of Summer 2016). If you would like help with accessing old Moodle sites and content, or learn about transitioning to Canvas or WordPress, please submit a support ticket at help.evergreen.edu and the Academic Technologies team will follow up with you.
