Installation
- When MSD ChemStation is installed, a shortcut in the Windows start menu may not have been created to the utility program that configures communication to the GC instrument. The configuration tool is called msconfig.net.exe, and will be locatd in this default path: C:\msdchem\MSexe\msconfig.net.exe
- When Agilent MSD Configuration (msconfig.net.exe) is configured, it will create a shortcut on the desktop to launch MSD ChemStation --MSTop.exe to be specific-- for communication with configured instrument --the shortcut will correspond to the instrument number {1-4}.
