This catalog shows all "General Access" gear available at Media Loan. General Access means any enrolled student can use it. Some items have gear guides for more information about how to use them. Some gear guides have videos produced in house or sourced online. We have more equipment that is only accessible to specific classes. To see more equipment, see our other catalogs linked in the sidebar on the right. All of our other General Access gear does not require instruction in order to check it out from us. Tripod Photo Tripod We have different sizes of tripods for stabilizing shots. Specialized tripods are for photos and others are for video. The the video tripod is different from a photo tripod because it has a "fluid head" which allows for smooth movements. We have smaller options like Joby Gorillapod with posable legs, and the monopod with just one leg for lighter packing.
