This catalog shows all gear available at Media Loan. There are details about who can access the gear and if people need to pass a proficiency test before using. Some Items have gear guides for more information about how to use them. In the "Proficiency Required?" columns, you can see if you need to pass a proficiency test to use the gear as well as the Gear Guide to do so.  If it is not required then you can use it now, without taking a test. The "Access" column refers to who is allowed to use the equipment. "Everyone" in the Access column means Evergreen students who have paid Media Fees as part of their class, as well as staff and faculty. Some items are only for faculty, or students in APS (Advanced Production Services) classes. The two columns with "Quantity" information are only updated annually, and primarily intended for faculty to determine how many items their students will have access to. The number reflects total items and not what is currently available.

This catalog shows all "General Access" gear available at Media Loan. General Access means any enrolled student can use it. Some items have gear guides for more information about how to use them. Some gear guides have videos produced in house or sourced online. We have more equipment that is only accessible to specific classes. To see more equipment, see our other catalogs linked in the sidebar on the right. All of our other General Access gear does not require instruction in order to check it out from us. For that reason be sure to review the gear guide and especially the precautions in each gear. If you would like any help learning our gear or have any issues feel free to reach out to us at the front desk, or call or email. See our website linked in the sidebar on the right for contact information.

Media Loan gear available to all Evergreen students.

Overview:
