WordPress is a leading industry-standard website creation platform. Our custom instance at Evergreen, wordpress.evergreen.edu, is available to students, faculty, and staff for a variety of curricular and institutional uses. To request site creation, please contact Academic Technologies staff via help.evergreen.edu. Curricular requests are prioritized.
Who is using it?

To access wordpress.evergreen.edu
- Go to wordpress.evergreen.edu
- Log in (using the same username and password you use to access My Evergreen and Canvas)
- Once you are logged in, there should be a “My Sites” link at the upper left-corner of the WordPress page
- Hover your cursor over or click directly on “My Sites” to access the list of sites associated with your account - this list will include sites you are an owner and/or member of

- Availability of Support: WordPress is available to all Evergreen community members with an active college account and you can make multiple site creation requests. Although sites are not restricted to curricular use, Academic Technologies staff are not able to prioritize support for non-curricular usage.
- Content Capacity Limitation: Individual sites only allow for 250 MB storage space - instead of uploading video and audio content to your site, post the video/audio file to an online platform (e.g., YouTube, SoundCloud) and link that into your site.
