Shared inboxes are used when multiple people need access to the same mailbox, such as a support email address, reception desk, or other function that various people might share.
Getting Started
If you’ve been added as a delegate to a shared inbox, you can open the inbox using Outlook and your Evergreen email account. Use the links below to find the help article that best relates to your environment.

- Shared inboxes are created by request. Please submit a technology support request if you believe your workgroup needs a shared inbox.
- All changes to inbox delegates must be made via a technology support request.
- M365 Group Inboxes have similar functionality to Shared Inboxes but are connected to a Microsoft Team.
- Team owners can manage Group Inbox membership themselves.
