Create, collaborate, and present data in a centralized location within your Team or Sharepoint site that is easy to sort and edit.

What Are Lists

Microsoft Lists allows you to create, collaborate on, and present data in a centralized location within your Microsoft Team or SharePoint site. It is designed to be easy to sort, edit, and view in different formats. You can create a form within Microsoft Lists to easily collect list data.

Key Features

Team Integration: Works across all Microsoft Teams channel types (standard, private, and shared). SharePoint Integration: Can be embedded into SharePoint site pages as either a read-only report or a collaborative shared repository. Data Collection: You can build forms directly within Microsoft Lists to easily collect and populate data.

Limitations

No Direct Move Function:You cannot directly move a list's entire structure (including its columns, custom views, and settings) to a new SharePoint site or Team once it is created. While you can export the raw data to Excel or a .csv file and copy it over, you will lose your custom formatting and column configurations. ***Always create your list in its final destination. Rule Constraints: Each individual list is strictly capped at a maximum of 15 automated rules.
