You can easily embed a variety of media from external sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, SoundCloud, etc. into your WordPress site.

Embed media from an external site

  1. Upload your video/audio/image to your preferred video hosting service (e.g., Youtube, Vimeo).
  2. Create or edit the post or page where you'd like your video to appear
  3. From the editing toolbar paste the url on its own line to the video you'd like to embed
  4. Save your changes (Update or Publish)
