Categories and Tags help to organize posts, allowing readers to easily find related content
Categories
Categories can be used to group related posts together, and quickly tell readers what a post is about.
- Categories may be created before or when creating a post.
- A category page is automatically created for each category.
- Use the Category Widget to display in your sidebar.
Tags
Tags provide a useful way to group related posts together, and to quickly tell readers what a post is about. Tags are optional, but can be more specific and free-form than categories.
What is the difference between categories and tags?
